About USCitizenTestPractice.com
Free, comprehensive, and up-to-date preparation for the United States naturalization test. Built for every applicant, in every state, in English and Spanish.
Our Mission
USCitizenTestPractice.com exists to help lawful permanent residents of the United States pass the USCIS naturalization civics and English tests on their first try. We believe that every person who has met the eligibility requirements for citizenship deserves clear, accurate, and free study tools — not expensive books, not paywalled courses, not outdated PDFs.
Every year, more than 800,000 people take the US citizenship test. Most pass. Many do not because of preparation gaps that are entirely avoidable — outdated officeholder answers, unfamiliarity with the English reading vocabulary, or nervousness from never practicing aloud with another person. Our goal is to close those gaps.
What We Offer
Complete 128 civics Questions
All 128 official USCIS civics questions for 2026, with acceptable answers, audio, and interactive flashcards. Questions are updated whenever federal officeholders change.
English Reading and Writing Practice
Full practice sets for both the reading test and writing test, using the official USCIS vocabulary lists. Read sentences aloud, practice dictation with a family member, and build confidence.
State-Specific Study Pages
Every US state has a dedicated page with its current Governor, US Senators, and capital — plus all 128 civics questions tailored to applicants in that state. Because “Who is your state’s Senator?” depends on where you live.
Spanish-Language Resources
Our full library is available in Spanish for hispanohablantes. Every guide, every question, every study tool — in Spanish. Because language should never be a barrier to preparation.
Up-to-Date Blog and Guides
In-depth guides on N-400, the interview process, the oath ceremony, age-based exemptions, travel rules, and dozens of other topics. Every article is written for 2026 regulations and current USCIS procedures.
What We Do NOT Do
- We do not provide legal advice. We are an educational resource, not a law firm. For complex immigration questions, consult a licensed immigration attorney.
- We do not submit forms for you. Form N-400 is filed directly with USCIS through your own my.uscis.gov account or by mail.
- We do not store your personal information. Our practice tools work without accounts, logins, or data collection.
- We are not affiliated with USCIS or any government agency. We are an independent educational resource.
How We Keep Our Content Current
USCIS rules and forms also change. Filing fees, processing times, form revisions, and exemption rules are updated as USCIS publishes them. If you see outdated information, contact us and we will fix it quickly.
Who We Are For
- Green card holders ready to apply — We walk you through N-400, eligibility, and preparation.
- Spanish speakers — Our Spanish-language section is as complete as our English content.
- Senior applicants (50+, 55+, 65+) — Detailed guides for the 50/20, 55/15, and 65/20 exemptions.
- Family members helping loved ones — Study tools that work for applicants and the family members quizzing them.
- Citizenship class teachers — Free resources you can share with every student.
Why Free?
The path to US citizenship already includes substantial costs — $710 to $760 filing fees, $85 biometrics, potentially legal fees for complex cases, and the cost of time off work for biometrics, interview, and oath ceremony. The last thing any applicant should worry about is whether they can afford a study guide.
Every tool on USCitizenTestPractice.com is free and always will be. No paywall. No premium tier. No “upgrade to unlock.” The same quizzes, flashcards, mock interviews, and guides that help applicants in wealthy suburbs also help applicants in rural towns, community centers, and libraries. That is the point.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
Every civics answer is drawn directly from the official USCIS 100-question study guide. Every reading and writing sentence uses only USCIS-published vocabulary. Every procedural detail (filing fees, wait times, interview rules) is checked against current USCIS publications. If we are ever wrong, we fix it immediately.
